Kwang kung is the only Chinese temple in Mumbai located in Mazgaon. It is located near mazgaon dockyard. Kwang kung temple was build in 1919 by the Chinese community living there, however in 1962 because of the Sino-Indian war many Chinese resident were forced to leave India.The temple is a two story house which is pink in colour as you enter the house it will give you the feeling of that old Chinese houses which is shown in movies, the stairs are made of wood. There are paintings of 3 gods's which symbolizes blessing, longevity and prosperity. As soon as you enter there will be a temple.
As you go upstairs the moment you open the door the view is just mesmerizing. The temple inside is painted in red colour. you can see the real Chinese culture there are even notes which is been written in Chinese. Even if we can't go to China, Mumbai has its own little China town. There are even people living in this building. you can take the keys from them.
